Different Kinds of Hooks

HOOKS is defined as a piece of metal or plastic that is used for catching or holding things, or or hanging things up. 

Different Types of Hooks for Hanging Things

S- SHAPED HOOK

    Available in plastic and metal commonly used in hanging racks in a             kitchen for pots and pans. S- Shaped Hook is inexpensive.

Over-the Door Hooks 

    An excellent way to utilize space and multiple items can be hang. It is a     great alternative  for those renting apartment.  This can also be used to     hang towel on the back of a bathroom door. Materials can be in plastic         or metal.

PEG STYLE HOOK 

    Also referred as Shaker Peg racks and play an integral role in creating     order, functionality and simplicity. Most peg hooks are wooded but you     may find mixed materials version that suit your style and need in             hanging things up. 

COAT HOOK

    The same category with peg style because they have the similar                 function. It is called coat hook but can hang anything on it. 

CEILING HOOK

    Provide an easy and secure way to hang house plants to save space and     hang up lights instead of using floor lamp. These styles of hooks are        best suited for heavier items like potted plants. If you are unable to put     ceiling hooks in your ceiling, there are also removable versions that are     better suited for lightweight items.

UTILITY HOOK  

    Essential when hanging heavy things. This screws into the wall or            ceiling. There are some utility hooks that is suitable in hanging heavy        chains, bicycles or even garden tools. It can also be used for lightweight     items. 

REMOVABLE HOOKS 

    Attached to a suction cup that can be placed on your window, mirror  and even on tiles. This does not leave any marks on surface and alternative if people can't or won't put hole in the wall.

NON PROTRUDING HOOKS 

    Hooks without object stick out on it. Non Protruding Hooks can be installed at lower levels compared to exposed hooks. It also provides a safer storage solution option for young kids. This can be used in classroom, gym, kids room, school bags, changing room, office, clothing, mining, helmet, hallway and safety hooks.
