Tool Box

 Tool Box

  • Box or a container for keeping tools in.
  • A metal or plastic box which contains general tools that you need at home.

H.O. Studley invented Tool Chest. He is born in 1838 in Lowell, Massachusetts and was held as a prisoner of war in Texas.

11 Different Types of Toolboxes

  1. Aluminum is the most common material that is used to make toolboxes because it is lightweight and strong.
  2. Steel is the most widely used material to build toolboxes.
  3. Stainless steel toolboxes offer the durability and the strength of aluminum toolboxes at a much higher price, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that they are over-priced. The higher price is completely justified.
  4. Plastic toolboxes are not very durable. Although they will never rust, they won’t last very long, either.
  5. Wooden toolboxes are not meant for use in a rough environment. They are mostly used as ornamentals.
